Savvy Card Mobile App

This is one of the best tools and marketing services I’ve seen in quite some time. Seems that every day new apps, services and technology tools get introduced to our ever changing mobile world. Always something new for business professionals and consumers.

SavvyCard helps connect them both and does it in the mobile environment where 98% of humans faces are spending more than 35% of their day. It’s time to meet your clients and prospects where they are and where their eyes are and that is their mobile device.

savvycard for agents and brokers

SavvyCard® is a web-based system. No downloads required. It works across all Internet-enabled devices. SavvyCard.com lets you create and customize a branded mobile marketing app that is easy to deliver to any mobile device from any location.

Accessing and designing your custom SavvyCard is simple and very user friendly. Multiple cards can be created and distributed and best of all, it’s totally free.

Here’s an example of a “Pocket Real Estate Career Concierge” app I created for some agents/brokers who were looking for some career advice and support. Took 10 minutes.

The Pocket Real Estate Career Concierge

The app can be shared with a simple url link which can then be added to any Internet enabled mobile device. App end-users can call, text, email, contact, get information, share links, access social media, add affiliates, take notes, share with others plus much more.

One super-uber feature is that when someone shares the app with someone else, email notifications are sent to the app owner with who shared the app, and who the app was shared with? It’s like being a fly on a social share wall. Still here? Go Make Yours! 🙂

If you want to be savvy and tech enabled, create and customize your own savvycard, distribute it to everyone you know or meet, and then show others how and why they’d want to share your SavvyCard with others… if done properly… they will.

Sniply Generates More Traffic and Business

Share content and drive traffic back to your website or blog using Snip.ly

The best free co branding content marketing call-to-action traffic driving tool of the decade. Snip.ly really is one of the coolest free tools I’ve seen in quite some time.

“People use Sniply to drive conversions from every piece of content they share. You can drive traffic to your website, downloads of your app, registrations for your event, customers for your service, and more.”

In short, this is one of the best tools to send people to any website while branding yourself at the same time. You can create a custom CTA (call-to-action) and add customizable links.

SCENARIO #1
Here’s an example of a Sniply used to send co-branded content to a client or prospect.

This property was found on Trulia and was selected based on previous research that qualifies the owner as a potential listing prospect. This can also be used with buyers.

Sending the owner a link to their property (Trulia in this example) then using Snip.ly to add your call to action and custom link. The really cool thing is that no matter where they go on the site, they’ll still see your Sniply overlay at the bottom of each page. This is one of the best free co branding-content marketing-link-back tools I’ve ever seen.

SCENARIO #2
In this example a video from Youtube was selected, then the Snip.ly was created with the call to action to drive viewers to the ultimate landing page of your choice.

Only took 90 seconds to create using the Snip.ly Chrome browser extention.

Sniply and Video

This is what the end user sees. They would click play to watch the video, but when they close the video, they are on your desired page which you can see behind the video.

Prospecting Using Public Record Data

There are a variety of sites available to real estate professionals that offer access to public record data. Some States and Counties have additional resources that offer if for free, others charge a fee to access their lists and detailed property information.  Today we are showing interested agents and brokers how and where to find public record data that can be massaged and manipulated in order to filter out the most qualified and niche targeted prospects.

This prospecting and marketing strategy commonly referred to as “Farming” is the best way to get more exposure and clients.

Another great source for public record property data and demographic information is the local Title and Escrow Companies. Depending on the company you choose to work, and the services they provide will determine what you have available to you locally. Two title companies you may want to investigate are First American Title and Fidelity National Title. Both have and can provide access to public record data sites that allow real estate professionals internet and mobile access to detailed property information, trends and demographics, even access recorded documents.

The Take-Away

Contact your local Title or Escrow Company and reach out to their sales representative. Ask them to tell you more about their services and the products they offer? Then get connected to the “DATA” that matters most in real estate… and that’s people and homes. Now, just figure out who your most-valued target market and audience would be? Next, use any of the sources listed in this article to begin building your business with the most important things in your database… and that’s your new and existing clients!

We talked about this topic and the above sites in a workshop this week, you’re welcome to preview the archived recording.

How To Screen Share Your Mobile Devices

Question: How do I get my iPhone, iPad, Android or Smartphone etc. to project or mirror on my computer screen so I can share it with others via live projection or during a webinar? Answer: It’s really super easy but not what you’ll find when searching the web!

There are quite a few different articles and how-to’s regarding apps, software’s and programs etc that can mirror your device on a computer or projection screen but none as easy as what I’m about to show you. Follow these few simple steps and you’ll be amazed.

Mobile Device Sharing

How to mirror and share your mobile device on a desktop or laptop computer.

1. Plug your device into the laptop/desktop computer using the provided USB cable
2. Launch your QuickTime Player (Download here if Needed for Windows or Apple)
3. Under the QuickTime “FILE” menu, select “New Movie Recording
4. Use the pulldown menu next to the record activation button, choose your device.

QuickTime Video Options5. Your device will now appear on the monitor or computer screen.

Now by simply using the device as you would normally, everything you do will be shared on your computer desktop or laptop screen. Now you can share your desktop screen and mobile devices on Webex events, GoToWebinar trainings, Google hangouts, Join.me and even in the real estate cloud-based campus at RETechCampus.com.

You can use this process on any sites or platforms that allow screen sharing.

This is by far the easiest and most efficient and inexpensive (free) way I have encountered for sharing your device and the apps you use on a desktop or laptop computer. This is a great way to share when there are just too many people to gather around your small device. It’s a great way for trainers, developers and teachers etc. to teach and share.

Reverse Phone Directory

Every now and again I get requests for a reverse phone directory that allows users to search for owners using a phone number? I also get numerous requests for a phone directory service that can simply search by name, email or property address etc?

Best Reverse Phone Directory

Well here are some resources you can use to search phone numbers, names,  property addresses, businesses, emails and user names. Even create custom words using your phone number for the letters. IE: 1-800 CAN-FIND. Check-out PhoneSpell to try it.

TOP PHONE AND REVERSE DIRECTORY SERVICES

1. The first and most obvious resource for phone numbers is the Online White Pages. This site allows you to search by name, address, business or phone number. You can also download their Mobile App and for Android users, they offer a caller-id mobile app.

2. Searching by phone number is great when you have a note on your desk with a phone number on it but you forgot to jot down the name that it belongs to?! Reverse Phone Lookup lets you type in the phone number and search for the owner online.

3. Anywho is another great service that allows reverse searching by phone number.  They also offer a Yellow Pages directory, a White Pages directory and an Area Code and Zip Code lookup directory which is useful for your local demographic searches.

4. Pipl scours the top social networks, directories, public records, publications, associations, e-commerce and thousands of other sites. They collect contact, social, employment, education, demographic data and background information.

5. Spokeo allows you to search by criteria that the others do not. Searching by email address or user name can be very useful when looking for alias email addresses or when searching by registration or user name.

6. TrueCaller  is a cool reverse phone directory that focuses strictly on phone number searches and has a database of more than 1.5 Billion phone numbers world wide. They even provide the top reported spamming phone numbers in real time in your area.

IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT DO-NOT-CALL
I’m adding this National Do-Not-Call site just to keep everyone in compliance.

Some of these sites above are free with unlimited use. Others may be free or free with trial but then they want you to pay for the more detailed information and reports offered.

My guess is that you’ve probably already used one of these sites and services but if not, then you are hopefully happy that you found this article.

As always, if I missed your favorite site or service, feel free to add it in the comments so others visiting will have even more options available to them. Much appreciated. And if you believe that you discovered this post by mistake, then don’t call us… we’ll call you!

Real Estate Marketing Secrets

Here are some GREAT Real Estate Marketing Secrets and Tips from TOP Pro’s and Experts.

REMS
If you could line up some of the greatest marketing minds in Real Estate and ask them to give you just ONE single tip that has made them successful and that they’d be willing to share with you, what would you be willing to do or pay for that information? Really? What if someone did that for you and then provided it for free? As it turns out, I stumbled across the deck below being shared by Seth Price where he did just that?!

“For many real estate professionals and brands, 2015 will be the year they embrace content and inbound marketing. It’s still difficult for many in real estate to perceive the value in creating utility for consumers without turning that utility into an advertisement. But the rest of the marketing world has already begun to jump on the content marketing bandwagon. Some would say real estate as an industry hasn’t really moved far afield from the yard sign and “I’m a #1 agent” photos that still grace so many agent and broker websites. We have a long way to go to match the expectations of the consumer. But whoever said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks was not living in the Google era.” Read More

He captured some great tips and strategy secrets from some of the greatest real estate marketing minds in today’s business and compiled the “secrets” into the deck I’m sharing below. Take a good look at what these experienced and respected folks who live and work across the country that also live and breathe in the real estate space, and see what they have to say.

I guaranty you’ll come away with some great tips for your 2015 business success.
