Is Daylight Saving Time Wasting Time

It’s that time of year that many of us around the country have to change our clocks again, but have you ever asked yourself why we do this? Do you know the story and understand Daylight Saving Time?  Does setting your clock forward and backward twice a year really save any time?

Depending on where you live in the Country or World will also depend on whether you have to participate in this activity or not. So why do we even bother with any of this at all?  Is it just because we believe that it somehow serves a greater purpose or a greater cause for mankind?

Check out what these guys did to educate people about DST: Daylight Saving Time

Daylight saving time was originally created so that people would have more daylight in the summer months.  The original idea was posed by George Hudson who wanted to spend more time in the summer evenings collecting insects/bugs.  (Believe it or not!)

Daylight Saving Time (United States) began Sunday, March 13, 2011, and ends Sunday, November 6, 2011. Except in Arizona and Hawaii.  Move your clocks ahead 1 hour in spring and back 1 hour in fall.

Remember: Spring Forward, and Fall back if you want to pretend that you have some sort of control over time.
