Steve Hundley, CEO and Founder of 1parkplace, Inc acknowledges and recognizes a few individuals that made the event in San Francisco one of the best Real Estate technology and marketing events ever. In particular, Steve gives special note and comments to Founder of Inman News, Mr. Brad Inman.
“This year we participated with the Inman Real Estate Connect conference in San Francisco and it was so outstanding that I wanted to share some highlights with our 1parkplace family. I know it’s been a few weeks since we were there, but the effect of the event is still strong, which is why I felt so compelled to share my story.
If you were not there, I suggest you look into being there next year. The new format, Inman Next and all the passion and brainpower behind the scenes makes this is a grand slam event for anyone looking for innovative new technologies for real estate marketing.”
Anyone you ask will agree, Brad Inman does an outstanding job each and every year. With the assistance of Tim Smith, CEO and Chris Smith, Chief Evangelist, this years connect was over the top with these gentleman doing a stellar job leading and moderating the entire conference.
Great job Steve Hundley, awesome job and well done Inman News, and Congrats to all of you who were able to personally be there and witness the events first hand. Each and every session, speaker, and presentation was packed with amazing ideas and technology tools.
It’s these people and tech tools that help catapult the real estate industry to a higher level which helps to meet the demands and expectations of the real estate and tech savvy consumer. You can include our personal thanks to those mentioned in this video and in addition, a big congratulations to all the Innovators and award winners this year!
Brad Inman should get a life-time achievement award for his amazing efforts and endeavors at Inman News and Inman Connect. His achievements and accomplishments speak volumes for this nomination, count this as my vote!
On July 28th, 2011 at the Hilton Union Square Grand Ballroom, Brad Inman Founder of Inman News, Tim Smith CEO of Inman, and Chris Smith, the newly appointed Chief Evangelist for Inman announced the 2011 Innovator of the Year Award Winner. Up until the morning of the announcement, I had no idea who the winner was going to be, but I had heard some names mentioned and was encouraged to not miss this presentation.
It was a very exciting moment and we captured it on video. Hat’s off to the winners, and our congratulations goes out to ALL the nominees from every category. There truly are no losers, everyone nominated is a winner in my opinion.
The Inman team must have a very difficult time trying to select winners beyond the “People’s Choice” awards. Shout-outs and Kudos to their entire team and staff for a fine job well done! Special Thanks, and CONGRATS to Inman on celebrating 15 years of Real Estate Connect Success.
Join me in congratulating the 2011 Inman News “Innovator of the Year” for winning a very prestigious and coveted award….drum roll please…the winner is….
Agents will Reboot in Seattle, WA this next week at Inman’s Agent Reboot event. The term “Reboot” is appropriate in that this will be an opportunity for agents, REALTORS, and Brokers to do just that. Reboot! My analogy is “CTRL-ALT-DEL” where sometimes you have to just stop, reboot, re-evaluate, and make some adjustments, and sometimes shutdown and just start over.
“In this industry, we are always learning, growing, and adjusting to the many technology changes and market challenges that we face on a daily basis. Agent Reboot is a great environment to upload/download relationships and import/export ideas and information.”
Sometimes it’s difficult to separate business from pleasure.
While I’m getting the chance to speak and share at Agent Reboot in Seattle this next week, I struggle with having to call this work. (Big Smile) Traveling to Seattle is more fun than it is work, and getting to see old friends and make some new ones is hardly an exhaustive task or experience. It’s all about the people in my opinion.
I’ll be sharing how to “Build Community” both on-line and off with those who happen to be joining us. It is hardly a job to me, none-the-less, it will be my job and responsibility this next week in Seattle.
If you happen to be in the area, make an effort to come by Agent Reboot. I’ve heard some great things about it and I’m really looking forward to being there. This will be my first experience. Be sure to stop me in the hallways to say hi, after-all, it’s in those hallways that some of the greatest values are created and best memories are made.
Don’t forget your cell phone, I’ll explain more and why when I see you there.
